Started our day with a walk down the "spit", which is a narrow single-road piece of land that sticks out into the bay from Homer. It's full of galleries, shops, restaurants, and touristy things. We walked to the end and had a bloody mary on the beach.
After our walk, we grabbed a pizza and headed back so that Dylan and Angela could get ready for their showtime at the Down East Music Festival. The crowd was a bit thin, but the music was good.
On the way back, we saw a moose and two calves walking through some woods close to the road. Very fun!
